FACE FIT TESTING

FACEFIT TESTING of RPE

(Respiratory Protective Equipment)

It is a legal requirement to wear suitable Face Fit tested RPE on site when conducting work which may cause you or nearby workers to breath in substances under the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations, the Control of Lead at Work Regulations and the Control of Asbestos Regulations.

A simple 20 minute test can tell you whether a mask size, shape or material is suitable for a particular operative.

Bamford Contract Services construction team are now fully trained competent Face Fit testers and we are pleased to announce our Qualitative Face Fit testing service in accordance with the HSE OC 282/28.

Our Face Fit service is available to any company or individual working in a profession or sector which requires them by law to wear a Face Fit tested mask. The testing service can be carried out at a company's premises, site office or at our own facility in Greater Manchester.

We also offer the testing free to the majority of our sub contract / temporary workers and we can provide suitable masks ( half face) at reasonable cost.
